Thank you for answering my letter. I love simplicity. That is one of the reasons I love Jesus; He was the essence of simplicity and our model in all things pertaining to truth. It is to know Him in His simplicity if we are to make it through this world successfully. You do not have to apologize for not using a computer, it has become a great curse for many, maybe greater than the television or the automobile. The people I have known who live the simplest kind of lives are the ones I have admired the most. Some Amish acquaintances, who have none of the items mentioned above, telephones maybe, are the most focused and God honoring people I have ever known; I love their discipline, dedication, and devotion. Another group of Christian friends, who live in a community of about two hundred families in the Indianapolis area, that have devoted their lives to Christ and each other, are a living testimony of the simple Christian life in the twenty first century. Although I use a computer, and drive a car, we have been off television, radio (for the most part), newspaper, alcohol, and tobacco for quite some time now, but I would not call my life simple yet.

As I said in my last letter I have been a Christian for a long time. During the majority of that time I was part of the status quo and belonged to several different denominations and served in several different capacities. I have attended Bible College and studied the Bible in the original language for two years. I have read the Bible from cover to cover probably fifty times in all of the translations.
